Heat of
Hydration Testing

Concrete with high cement content can generate heat during the curing period.

This can be of serious concern when a large volume is placed in a trench around PVC or HDPE conduits. If not addressed, it can soften and deform the conduits, rendering them useless. Geotherm conducts tests on fresh concrete to determine the highest temperature and the time at which it can occur.
